Around the time I started working for Hakkasan Group, they were in the process of expanding the OMNIA brand which started with a flagship nightclub in Las Vegas to then carrying the brand into a nightclub in San Diego as well as two day clubs, one in Bali and one in Los Cabos.
They had a foundation started by an outside agency which established colors to differentiate each venue and basic shapes assigned to each. My job was then to create a visual campaign that could be carried out across all the different venues.
Among some of the various ideas discussed by my team and I, our creative director suggested a kaleidoscope theme. It was from here that I had to establish how that could be executed.
Having previous experience with the fast-paced nature of monthly creative for nightclub events, I decided that instead of just creating a single piece of creative for each venue, I created a system that would allow an infinite amount of variations in designs by building a template that would utilize embedded images that could easily be moved around to create a unique piece for every event and it could be done quickly.
DESIGN SYSTEM BREAKDOWN
Below is a video demonstration of the template I built (this one in particular was for OMNIA Las Vegas) wherein myself or my team could open up a photoshop file, open up embedded smart objects, move or change an image and then update the object to see the kaleidoscope system update to generate a new background for every event.

Same concept was carried out for all three other venues. With Bali and Los Cabos still under construction around this time, I had to come up with a way to take carry this creative into a treatment for teaser campaigns and social media content.
